Donation Policy
The Islamic Community Würzburg e.V. is a registered, non-profit association. The following rules apply to all donations to our organization.
§1 Purpose and Use
Donations to the Islamic Community Würzburg e.V. are used exclusively for statutory charitable purposes, including: • Operation and maintenance of the mosque • Religious education and programs for children and adults • Intercultural and social events • The Masjed construction project (if specified as intended purpose) Unused funds will be carried over to future budget years or allocated to other statutory purposes.
§2 Donor Rights
As a donor, you have the right to: • Receive an official tax donation receipt for amounts of €200 or more upon written request • Request information on the use of your donation on justified request • Revoke any granted direct debit authorization with immediate effect • Request deletion of your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy
§3 Tax Deductibility
The Islamic Community Würzburg e.V. is recognized as a charitable organization (exemption notice from Würzburg tax office). Donations are therefore tax-deductible within the statutory limits. For amounts up to €300, a bank statement is sufficient as proof. For €300 and above, we issue an official donation receipt upon request.
§4 Earmarking
Donations can be made with a specific designation (e.g., 'Masjed Project', 'Quran School', 'Running Costs'). Please state this purpose in the transfer or donation form. If no earmarking is specified, the board decides on the statutory use. Subsequent changes to earmarking are not possible.
§5 Refunds
Donations are voluntary contributions without consideration. Refunds are only possible in exceptional cases: • Proven technical double charges • Accidental transfers (verifiable and immediately reported) • Failure to reach a clearly defined project goal, if agreed in advance Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected].
§6 Anonymous Donations
Anonymous donations are accepted. In this case, no tax receipts can be issued. On the honor board of our website, anonymous donors will be listed as 'Anonymous Donor' unless they explicitly object. We treat all donor data confidentially and do not share it with third parties.
§7 Data Protection
Personal data collected during the donation process (name, email, payment data) is used exclusively to process the donation and fulfill tax obligations. Payments are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal. We do not store credit card information. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
§8 Donation Receipts
Donation receipts are sent by email to the address provided during donation, upon request. Please note: • Receipts are only issued for donations of €200 or more (bank statement suffices for smaller amounts) • Processing time is up to 4 weeks • Requests should be sent to [email protected]

These General Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the use of our website and the processing of online donations via our platform.

These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the website ig-wuerzburg.de and all donation transactions processed through this website. By using the website, you accept these terms. §2 Services
The website provides information about the activities of the Islamic Community Würzburg e.V. and enables online donations for charitable purposes. §3 Online Donations
Online donations via our website are processed securely through Stripe or PayPal. By completing the donation process, you agree to the Donation Policy. A donation does not entitle you to any service in return. The donation is voluntary and cannot be refunded, except in cases specified in the Donation Policy.
§4 Payment Processing
Payments are processed exclusively through certified payment service providers (Stripe, PayPal). The donation amount is credited to the association's account immediately upon successful payment. For erroneous or failed payments, the respective payment provider is responsible. We recommend contacting the payment provider's customer service in case of issues.
§5 Limitation of Liability
The Islamic Community Würzburg e.V. strives to ensure the accuracy of information provided on this website. We are only liable for damages arising from the use of this website in cases of intent or gross negligence. External Links: We are not responsible for the content of linked external websites.

§8 Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
German law applies. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Würzburg, to the extent legally permissible. For consumer matters, the EU online dispute resolution platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are not obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings.
